Area of weapons

At the Western Gate in Kotor is the largest square of the city - the Square of Weapons. The name of the square comes from the time when the Venetians ruled on these lands, and there was a warehouse of military ammunition and weapons.

Here is one of the most famous buildings of Kotor - the clock tower, which after the earthquake of 1979 stands under a slope. The largest building in the square is the Prince's Palace, which has one of the longest balconies in Europe.

Currently, there are many cafes, restaurants, boutiques and shops in the Arms Square.
