Casablanca Valley wineries

We leave the hotel in the morning (departure time is confirmed after booking tours at the wineries). The wineries are located in the picturesque valley of Casablanca, known as one of the best valleys for the production of white wines due to its favorable climate - a large difference in temperature day and night, coolness from the ocean and frequent fogs form ideal conditions for the growth and maturation of white varieties. The valley is located only 30 km from Vigna del Mar and Valparaiso and 60 km from Santiago, making its wineries the most accessible from both the capital and coastal cities. The first winery is Casas del Bosque. Founded only in 1993, this family-run boutique winery produces exceptionally high quality premium wines. In total, in its possessions 232 hectares, in the valley of Casablanca, cultivars Chardonnay, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc are grown, red varieties - Shiraz and Pinot Noir, in the valleys of Maipo and Rapel - red varieties Carmener and Cabernet Sauvignon. The emblematic wine of this winery is Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Shiraz wines are also of high quality. About 80% of the winery’s products are exported to different countries. From Santiago, the road to the winery will take us about 1.40 minutes, upon arrival there will be a tour of the winery with tasting. After the tour and tasting, we go to the next winery - Matetis, there we dine in the restaurant at the winery and after lunch - a tour and wine tasting.
It is possible to visit wineries - Indomita, Mar, Bodegas Re, Emiliana, William Cole and others in the same valley.
