About me and my experience
My name is Marat and on my travels Captain Marat. I am a certified Russian-language guide interpreter in Chile, living and based in the Valparaiso region. I am an organizer of travel in South America, the founder of the travel brand Chilewelcome and the author of the genre "Theatrical expedition".
I am officially registered with the National Register of Tourist Services SERNATUR, and my professional competence as a guide is confirmed by the ChileValora state certification system.
By training, I am a teacher, linguist and actor of dramatic theater and cinema. I have two higher educations, wrote a PhD thesis in pedagogy, taught foreign languages in schools and universities. I speak Russian, Spanish, French and English.
For many years I have been living in Chile and professionally travel to Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and other countries of South America. During this time, I became interested in creating not just excursions, but travels in which guests become participants in the real story.
Experimenting with different travel formats, I came up with the idea of combining the route, historical plot, game elements, unexpected discoveries and live communication into a single adventure. This is how the genre of theatrical expeditions was born, of which I am the author and founder.
Each program is built around the route, legend, discoveries and experiences, thanks to which the trip is remembered not only by beautiful places, but also by your own experience of participating in the adventure.
