Fjord Day in Denmark

Celebrated since 1991Fjord Day lasts 3 days - from 12 to 14 July. It is an international holiday of Scandinavian countries.

In Denmark, Fjord Day has been celebrated since 1991 to draw public attention to the state of coastal waters in the country.

During the celebration, environmental and local lore conferences, screening of films on environmental topics, exhibitions of painting and photography, musical evenings and concerts, meetings with famous figures of art and culture are held.
