To visit the great storyteller (the city of Odense)

The first overseas country we learn about as a child is Denmark. And all thanks to the tales of the great Dane - Hans Christian Andersen.
You have heard and read his stories, and now you have the opportunity to meet his creator. The famous storyteller was born in Odense and lived here until the age of 14, until he went to the capital to conquer the world. Because of this, Odense is doomed to be a “city of fairy tales”, no matter what else happens in it. At every corner in the center, dozens of sculptures are reminiscent of Andersen - both himself and his heroes.
The “genius of the place” is dedicated to two houses-museums.
One is a tiny childhood home where you can feel how harsh life was for the Danish poor two hundred years ago.
The other is the Andersen House, which occupies a half-quarter and tells in detail about his life path: the son of a shoemaker and a laundress beats out as national heroes and returns to his hometown.
