Small Giftun reef
Description:
Little Giftun (Saghir). Blessed with deep waters, caves, canyons and a wealth of corals, the Giftun Islands are considered favorite places for diving and snorkeling near Hurghada (you can get to the islands in about an hour).
Diving here is very popular and cause a lot of pleasure and delight.
The maximum depth of diving near the Small Giftun reef is 40 m (the reef has caves and tunnels), optimal - 20 m, visibility of water - more than 30 m. Near the lagoon, the water is always calm, but the current is unpredictable – it can be either weak or very strong.
Standard inhabitants of the reef - Napoleon fish, picasso fish, crocodile fish, scorpion fish, tuna, barracuda, mackerel, turtles, giant moray eels on the plateau can be admired by Napoleonic fish, moray eels, crocodile fish, spotted rays, triggers Big Giftun Island is distinguished by the splendor of land beauty and therefore all year round is filled with tourists who want to soak on milky white sand, swim in crystal water and, of course, do diving.
Near the island there are many corals that are home to a large number of marine residents, the most unique guests of these places are stingrays, moray eels, cuttlefish, turtles.
