Taba

The Bay of Sinai Pearl

Newabaa - Taba, Qesm Nwebaa, South Sinai, Egyp

Description:

On the Sinai Peninsula on the border with Israel is a small resort town of Taba. Resting in this place, it is worth visiting the Pearl of Sinai Bay, small, picturesque, but very beautiful. It cuts shallowly into the coastline. But still got the name of the fjord. It is surrounded by turquoise cliffs. From their height offers an amazing view of the calm surface of the bay, which fully justifies its name. The bay is winding, it is not long to walk along a trail strewn with pebbles, between the rocks. The coastline is cluttered with boulders, during the swim they are practically not visible. The water here is calm, the wind almost never happens. On sunny days you can see many red snails basking in the sun.

This bay has become a favorite place for divers who are attracted by coral reefs at a depth of 16 meters. There is an underwater opening where you can see beautiful fish coming here from the open sea.

You can get there by bus from Sharm El Sheikh, but it runs once a day. It is much easier by plane, taxi or bus.
