Windmill Museum on Saaremaa Island

The only windmill museum in Estonia is located on the island of Saaremaa, in the town of Angla. The museum features five restored windmills. These are not models, but real working mills that are installed in the field and can be used for their intended purpose if necessary.

The largest of the presented mills resembles the Dutch - the same high and powerful, has several floors. It often hosts various events, temporary exhibitions. The remaining mills are much smaller in size, they are usually studied outside, without going inside.
