Parola Tank Museum
Hattulantie 334, Hattula, Finland
About the company:
The Parola Tank Museum, located near the Finnish town of Parola in the forest, was opened on June 18, 1961.
The first exhibits of the museum, 19 tanks and 12 anti-tank guns, were located on the hillside near the Hertola estate, then a separate pavilion was built for them.
The exposition of the museum is devoted to the history of Finnish armored vehicles. It also provides information on the use and development of armored combat vehicles of the Finnish army, starting with the first tank purchased in 1917.
The museum catalogue contains 90 exhibits, some of which are not on display. They are probably in a nearby forest where the Parola armored brigade is located.
All exhibits belong to the Ministry of Defense of Finland and have official numbers. Most of them are active.
