Lakis ski resort

The ski resort of Lakis is located in Finland, in the town of Vimpeli on the eastern shore of Lake Lappayarvi, in the middle of the hills of Watpakka, Lakeaharju and Pyhävuori.

From the cottage village and from the ski resort springboards, a luxurious view of the lake opens. A cozy camping area is located at the foot of the slope. From here begins 15 km track for cross-country skis, along which there are 3 hunting lodges.

The ski resort of Lakis offers tourists: three lifts, one children's slope, equipment rental, as well as a ski school for beginners. The resort has only 4 slopes, all of them are illuminated. Maximum length of descent: 750 m.

In the restaurant Vä li-Lasku, located on the slope, you can eat grilled dishes, tonic drinks and coffee. The restaurant is open during the slopes.

On weekend evenings, Vä li-Lasku turns into an after-ski venue and karaoke bar. The resort is located just an hour from the coast of the Gulf of Bothnia, where you can make a day hike to the Vindala hill.
