Porvoo City Museum
Raatihuoneentori, 06100 Porvoo.
About the company:
The Porvoo City Museum mirrors the whole life and development of the city of Porvoo. But before this building gained museum peace and some chic thanks to the furnished halls, it passed many tests.
Originally there was the Old Town Hall (mid-18th century), then the building began to fall into desolation, acquired an abandoned appearance, and could already completely disappear, but the employees of the local museum association did not allow to throw the history of their city, and created a museum here, thereby giving new life to these historical walls.
Among the collected expositions from the Middle Ages to modern paintings, you will see a lot of applied art.
Completes all this splendor of a two-storey building with an attic built of wood clock tower.
