Design Museum in Helsinki
Hogbergsgatan 23, Helsinki, Finland
About the company:
The Helsinki Design Museum is a museum that opened in 1873, making it one of the oldest museums in the world. This museum boasts a large number of exhibits, which total more than 215 thousand. This number includes different drawings, photographs, drawings and other items, each of which, in one way or another, is related to the theme of the museum - design.
The first floor of the museum is provided for the exhibition of Finland’s achievements in design, and this exhibition is called “Finnish Form”. On the remaining floors of the museum building, most of the work is occupied by professional designers, who are the most famous in the world.
Now the museum is not located in the building in which it was originally opened. The current building of the Design Museum in Helsinki is also very old, since it was built in 1895, but the museum only settled there in 1978.
