Mielakka ski resort

The Mielakka ski resort is located in the town of Kouvola, just 2 km from the city center. Kouvola is only 100 km from the Finnish-Russian border of Vaalima-Torfyanovka.

In Mielakka there are slopes of all levels, the tube slide, a slide for sledging, a place where you can fry sausages yourself, a rental point for skis, snowboards and equipment, a small restaurant and a school for skiing.

The resort is served by 5 bougel lifts, of which one is for children and one is free for beginners. Capacity of 3300 people per hour. The height difference is 73 m. A total of 5 main trails up to 350 m long, 2 red, 2 blue, children's and training tracks are located on the northern slope. On the south there is one blue track and a snowpark. All of them with evening lighting and a snow system. There's also a sleigh track.

At the rental point, you can rent a ski kit (skis, sticks and ski boots) for descent or for walking on rough terrain, snowboarding, “vatrushki”, or missing equipment.
