Ski resort of Luosto

Luosto is a ski resort located in the central part of Northern Finland – Lapland, north of the Arctic Circle. It is one of the most popular ski resorts in Lapland. He is most loved by people who appreciate high quality and relaxation. The resort is located at an altitude of 490 m above sea level. Luosto has eight ski slopes, two of which are illuminated, as well as six lifts. The longest descent is 1600 m.

In addition to skiing on very well-groomed ski slopes, there are all conditions for cross-country ski lovers. The length of the track for cross-country skiing is 94 km, and in its well-groomed quality it is not inferior to the ski slopes. There is a ski school for beginners and children at the resort. In addition, such traditional services for ski resorts as snowmobiles, deer and dog sleds, snowshoe walks and ice fishing are very popular. More exotic and interesting services are an indispensable success: an excursion to the mine with the search for precious stones and the opportunity to look at the Northern Lights.
