The Mikkeli Art Museum is located in the center of the eponymous city and in itself is a work of architectural art. The building of the museum was built more than 100 years ago, and due to its appearance, it immediately received the nickname “Granite House”.
Inside the Mikkeli Art Museum, you can see several thousand exhibits, each of which contains a particle of the history of the city of Mikkeli and its surroundings. The pride of the museum is the rich collection of Finnish paintings.
