Kemi Snow Castle, which has been built in the Finnish city of Kemi every winter since 1996, is one of the city’s most famous seasonal attractions.
In the Snow Restaurant, the tables are made of ice, the ice chairs are covered with deer skins. There are ice sculptures in the hall. The restaurant menu offers traditional Lapland dishes.
The temperature inside the rooms of the Snow Hotel "Mamont" is not higher than -5 degrees. Guests of the hotel are offered warm sleeping bags in which you can safely spend the night.
Young couples from Finland and other countries come to the Ice Chapel for the wedding ceremony.
The most amazing place in the Kemi Snow Castle is a real Finnish sauna with its inherent heat.
A special atmosphere of the castle is also created by lighting and sound effects.
