Pory Airport

Pori is a city on the west coast of Finland, on the shores of the Gulf of Bothnia. This ancient city attracts tourists with a number of cultural events, the most famous of which is the annual jazz festival. It is held in the summer and gathers more than a hundred thousand spectators.
Pori Airport is located two kilometers from the city. The airport is operated by Finavia, which operates regular flights to Helsinki. The airport also hosts many charter flights. The airport began operation in 1944, today it carries more than fifty thousand passengers a year. The Finnish Aviation Academy is located here, and Pori Airport serves as the main pilot training center in Finland. The length of the airport runway is two kilometers three hundred and fifty meters.
The airport is not connected to Pori by bus routes to get to the city, you will have to book a taxi or rent a car.
