Puuvillatehtaankatu 8, 210 Tampere, Finland
Description:
The small palace, located in the Finnish city of Tampere, was built in 1897 in the Baroque style with arched windows, sculptural decorations on the pediment. The interiors of the two-storey mansion of five rooms still perfectly convey the atmosphere of the late XIX century.
Here you can see antique furniture in Art Nouveau style, which was made to order at the newly opened furniture factory in Porvoo, ancient chandeliers, jewelry made of art glass.
In the Little Palace there is a magnificent stained glass mosaic “Leila’s Garden”. From 1982 to 2001, the building was used for commercial purposes, now the Little Palace hosts banquets, photo shoots and concerts. The owners of the building also tour the palace.
