Uryal Museum

Museotie, 31720 Urjala

About the company:

The Uryala Museum is a paradise of peace and quiet in Finland. Village life, old warehouses and dwellings, soldiers' premises - what could be more beautiful!

The exposition is crowned by a huge windmill, built in the late XIX century. In addition to it, you can find unique samples of clothes of peasants and soldiers of that time, visit real trenches made during the Second World War, as well as see agricultural tools for field work.

Perhaps the most interesting exhibit of the museum is the house in which rocking chairs were produced. Such an unusual production was established in the 60s of the XIX century, and enjoyed great popularity. There is also a small shoemaker’s room in the basement. Immerse yourself in the unusual and mysterious world of an ancient Finnish village!
