Vapriikki Museum Centre

The Vapriikka Museum Centre is a truly unique place. There are more than a dozen different museums in various fields of knowledge. On a huge territory there is the Museum of History, the Museum of Dolls and even the Museum of Shoes. Here you can get acquainted with the best examples of Finnish flora and fauna, as well as learn about the history of textile production in Finland.

The word vapriikka in Swedish means factory. This name is not accidental, since before the territory of the museum was occupied by a textile factory, there was also a metallurgical production. Today it reminds the exhibits of the museum center.

Vapriikki is an amazing place to relax. Not far from the expanses of the museum there are many different cafes, and in the center there is a restaurant.
