The Museum of Musical Instruments, located in the Center of Folk Arts in Kaustinen, Finland, was opened in 1997.
Most of the exhibits were presented to the museum by Professor Erkki Ala-Connie. Also exhibited here are instruments belonging to the Institute of Folk Music.
More than a thousand instruments introduce visitors to the history of Finnish music: from the folk music of the Kalevala culture to modern pop culture.
