Avignon

Town Hall of Avignon

It is located in the Place de l'Horloge.

Description:

Avignon is considered one of the main religious and cultural centers of France. Particular attention is drawn to the central square of l'Horloge - surrounded by many cute cafes on it rises a huge complex of the town hall.

Built in 1648, it has not been modified to date. Above the entrance shines the magnificence of the symbol of the city - the image of Tarasca. The Gothic tower attracts special attention of tourists.

Many companies offer excursions to the town hall of Avignon, however, if you already know its history - you can just sit in one of the cozy restaurants and admire the building. Believe me, this can be done endlessly. And with the onset of dusk, the illumination on the building turns on, making it look like a small palace.
