Feast of Beaujolais Nouveau 2025

The celebration of Beaujolais Nouveau 2025.

This year, the dates of the holiday will be 20 to 25 November.

As always, the best and most intense program will be

1. in the city of Bojo - the ancient capital of the region, 60 km from Lyon, Beaujolais region.

The beginning of the holiday on November 19 at 16.45 hours (reservation is necessary for participation), will be marked by the release of a large number of balls, then you will be offered to familiarize yourself with 12 names of vintage wines Beaujolais. Tasting – a competition where you can become a full member of the jury, will be held through the streets of the city to the typical music of the region.

At 18:00, the presentation of the partners of the holiday, a costumed defile of delegations, will begin.

At 19.30, participants will proceed to dinner, which will be placed in a chapito, a covered area with a stage. In the evening you will go on a gastronomic trip (typical dishes of the region) to the accompaniment of the carnival music of the gala concert.

At 23 hours, a torchlight procession will begin through the streets of the city, which will lead to a huge symbolic barrel of New Beaujolais, the opening of which will take place under the chimes. This is the beginning of the first wine sample of the new harvest. Then the pyrotechnic show.

The ball starts at one o'clock in the morning.

November 20
At 11 o'clock the next day, the square near the meria will host a fair of producers, which will present local products: cheeses, smoked goods, honey, wine, butter, confectionery, etc.

21 November
From 18 o'clock, the wine salon opens, where you can not only taste, buy, but also conclude commercial transactions.

At 20 o'clock, everyone is invited to the evening of Lyon Bouson. To the sounds of classic French songs, you will get acquainted with the cuisine of the Lyon mothers. The cuisine, which arose at the turn of the 20th century, became the progenitor of modern restaurant business and, in particular, the famous Lyon eateries - the Bussons. Reservation is mandatory.

22 November
Continuation of the wine salon.
At 12 o’clock under the roof of the capito, accompanied by musical animation, you will be able to taste dishes of Bozholez cuisine based on regional products.
At 20 o'clock, dinner is a surprise! What will be there remains a mystery, only that cooking will take place in front of the participants of the dinner. Reservation is mandatory.

23 November
Continuation of the wine salon
In the evening, the final closing dinner of the festival begins at 20 o'clock.

2. Feast of Beaujolais - Gurman, Tarar region

November 19
At 20 o'clock in the evening, which includes an extravagant performance and a dinner prepared according to recipes of local cuisine. At midnight, a symbolic opening of a barrel with Beaujolais Nouveau and a tasting without restrictions. Venue: Saint Forgeux, 40 km from Lyon

Fair of local producers with tasting of all products, accompanied by wine of the new harvest, from 10 to 18 hours. Venue: Domaine de la Revol, Dareize, 40 km from Lyon

21 November
Evening ball. The program includes a performance, dinner with drinks without restrictions, a dance ball. Start at 20:00. Venue: Saint Forgeux. Reservation is mandatory.

22 November
Venue: Tarare, 45 m from Lyon
Fair of regional manufacturers with the best range of products, from 9 to 13 hours.

23 November
Visit the wine cellars of the region.
All day long, the vineyards are waiting for you on their farms, where you can taste the wine of the new harvest, as well as the wines of the past. Venue: Tarare region

3. lyon
The festival will also take place in Lyon. Here, in the heart of the city, near Belcourt Square, will be a festival of young wine, organized by the young generation of vine growers. Rolling out a symbolic barrel and opening it at midnight, pyrotechnic shows, numerous themed fashion shows, “live” music, tasting divine sausages brewed in wine and, of course, free wine tasting.

Holidays will be held in the modern capital of Beaujolais - Villefranche sur Son and in the second most important city of the region - Belleville sur Son.
