Through the whole of Berlin there is a “wall line” – a double row of paving stones laid out on the asphalt. 45 kilometers in the city... I invite you to take an extraordinary journey along this line, and to travel back in time.
This tour tells about the Berlin Wall - the "German-German border", which for 28 years divided the city in two.
We will pass along the line of the wall, see its surviving sections and preserved rifle towers.
We will visit the tunnels dug by refugees and the spy tunnels of the Stasi, visit the places where escapes were made, see former checkpoints and walled-up metro stations.
Film and photo documents tell us about the history of the construction of the wall, its collapse, and how the wall almost caused the Third World War.
