Hidden Berlin: courtyards and cafes
Description:
Classic Berlin cafes, more than a century owned by the families "Mering" and "Kranzler", unfortunately, not so long ago ordered to live, unable to withstand the competition of all sorts of "Starbucks" and other coffee shops. However, Berlin is good because it makes its own note, zest, author’s stroke to any global trend. I invite you to take a walk through the Berlin courtyards in the area of the former Exchange Square and Monbijou Park, where cafe tables lined up on the sidewalks and in the hallways. Bookstores, boutiques of alternative designers, a bell workshop, a church courtyard flooded with sun, steps, cobblestone pavements - and certainly the smell of freshly brewed coffee coming from the open doors. The purpose of the walk is not to get the maximum information (although the information, of course, will not be the case), but to feel the atmosphere of Berlin non-parade, non-tourist, Berlin for their own, a city where for a century people of all nationalities feel comfortable and at ease.
