In Berlin: The New Museum
Description:
After all, it is like a trip to another world that existed several millennia ago, unusual, fascinating and frightening. We are completely different from the ancient Egyptians or the people of Troy, we have a different style and standard of living, but the emotions, intrigues, feelings of people do not change no matter what. This and much more we want to tell you during our tour.
The museum was founded in 1855. Due to the large collection of papyri and archaeological finds brought from Egypt, the museum is sometimes called the Egyptian Museum. During World War II, the museum was severely damaged and only 70 years after its closure, in October 2009, it was reopened to visitors.
To date, the new museum has about 5700 exhibits. Of course, for 1 hour of the tour we will not have time to introduce you to each of them, but, nevertheless, we will try to show and tell you all the most interesting things.
