Marzahn Park
Description:
The 21-hectare Marzahn Park is located in the north-east of Berlin, opened in 1987 in honor of the 750th anniversary of the city.
The unique park recreates the gardens and architecture of several countries: a Chinese garden with a miniature copy of the Great Wall of China, a lake, bridges and a traditional tea house, where visitors will be offered a refreshing green tea, a Japanese garden created in the traditions of Zen Buddhism, an oriental garden - an oasis in the courtyard with fountains and exotic flowers, as well as gardens of Korea and England, represented by a green labyrinth.
In the summer, concerts and theater performances are held. In the protected part of the park live deer, hares, partridges, pheasants and snakes.
The area of the park, not occupied by theme gardens, is also extremely well decorated. There are tree plantings, vast lawns, recreation areas, parks, fountains, statues. Alley is beautiful at any time of the year. Be sure to look there when you are in Berlin, you will enjoy a lot.
