About the company:

The Stasi Museum is a scientific and memorial center relating to the political system of the former East Germany. It is located in the area of Lichtenberg in Berlin, in the former headquarters of the Stasi.

The central place in the exhibition is occupied by the office and office of the former Minister of State Security, Head of the Stasi, Erich Milke. From here, in 1989, he headed the Ministry of State Security. After an assault on January 15, 1990, the office was sealed and has survived to this day in its original state.

During its existence, the Ministry conducted an active ideological and political activity, the main purpose of which was to preserve the revolutionary moods of the people, propagandize the revolution, and identify dissenters among the people. This is what most of the museum is dedicated to. Photos, recordings, documents, even busts of ideologues are put on display.
