There is a strong opinion that the city is its center. And the sights are located around the market square, where the two main dominants rise - the town hall and the temple. In relation to Dresden, the statement is true, but not sufficient. Here, too, there was once a settlement, which eventually turned into a “center” or “city”. Pride, decent, correct, baroque. With museums, temples, shops and squares. But the difference from other cities is that if you move away from the historical center, you will instantly find yourself in a different reality. In the part of the city, strikingly reminiscent of Peter, with its apartment houses, or Zurich with its villas and dachas, or a village with openwork half-timbered.

In Dresden, not only the center is beautiful, the whole city is diverse and at the same time whole. Therefore, I suggest to get acquainted not only on foot, but also with my eyes - from the window of the bus or car. So...

1. Drive around the city in one hour. Tourist groups often come to Dresden by bus. Time is usually short, I want to see more... What can you see in one hour of a bus tour? Here is the minimum recommended for travel agencies:

2. Two-hour bypass of Dresden. This is for individual tourists - acquaintance with the city not by way, but, as they say, with the exit ... to see and learn more. In addition to the above, we will also visit the baroque street Königstrasse, the dairy store Funda, the monument “Golden Horseman” Putin places, the buildings of the garrison Dresden...

3. A three-hour car tour is offered for those who find it difficult to walk and consists of two parts: a quick drive through the center (in the pedestrian zone) and a car tour around the center of Dresden.

4. An option for tourists who want to have a complete view of Dresden is a combined, self-pedestrian tour lasting 4 hours. It consists of a walking tour of the center of Dresden and a car tour.

5 and 6. If you have time, you can increase the route and go to Pilnitsa Park - the former dacha of the royal Saxon dynasty, as well as to Saxon Switzerland.

It is assumed that the tourist is already familiar with the pedestrian center of Dresden, so we go on a tour a little further from the historical part. By car, but with exits.
