Dresden

Dresden is romantic. Walk through the evening town.

Description:

Our walk is designed for romantics who want to get acquainted not only with the daytime, but also with the evening Dresden, when lights are lit, silence comes and from the usual city gradually turns into a fabulous one!

We set off on a journey across the Augusta Bridge, to the right bank of the Elbe River. Before our eyes there is a fascinating view of the old city with an unusual illumination: the Academy of Arts with a gilded figure of Fama, the dome of the Church of the Virgin, the Palace Gate, the Catholic Cathedral, the Opera and Ballet Theater ... the lights from the lanterns and buildings are reflected in the river and the paintings of famous artists Canaletto and Johann Christian Dahl, who immortalized this view in their beautiful landscapes, pop up in memory! It is no coincidence that Dresden was an important center of German romantic artists such as Kaspar David Friedrich, Ludwig Richter, Carl Gustav Karus, and others. The sky is gradually darkening and we slowly move on through the lighted streets to discover various corners of the mysterious Dresden. The Japanese Palace, the labyrinths of the courtyards of ancient buildings on Royal Street, Albert Square with fountains and spectacular lighting, the Golden Horseman - a monument to August the Strong, Palace Square, the Procession of Princes and Kings ... and, of course, the unique Zwinger, whose walls are decorated with Amur and nymphs, newts and satyrs!

The perfect conclusion of our walk can be a cozy cafe, so that by candlelight, with a glass of red wine, to exchange their impressions and I am sure you will remember this romantic evening for a long time!
