Pilnitsky Park

Description:

Pillnitz (Pillnitz) is one of the most beloved and picturesque places of rest and walks of residents and guests of the city.

This is the former summer country residence of the Saxon royal court since the XVII century. The complex of palace buildings framed by five different landscape parks, interspersed with ancient greenhouses and park pavilions - all this leaves unforgettable impressions for connoisseurs of beauty.

Pilnitsa, although unofficially, is a botanical garden, the main highlight of which is the Japanese camellia, the only preserved in Europe since the beginning of the XIX century.
