Monument to Martin Luther
Description:
The monument to the religious reformer Martin Luther was erected in 1885 in the old part of Dresden, in front of the Frauenkirche Cathedral. The sculpture was made by the architect Ernst Rietschel.
The monument was damaged during bombings in 1945. In 1955, after restoration, the monument was re-erected on the square.
