Central Railway Station
Description:
Central railway station is the largest transport hub of Dresden. It acts as a link of the highways Dresden-Neustadt-Dechin and Dresden-Verdau.
The station building is a combination of island and dead end stations located on two levels.
It is located in the southern part of Prager Strasse - the main shopping street of Dresden. Just five minutes walk away are the most important sights of the Old Town.
The station works around the clock. Trains to the nearby suburbs - Meissen and Pirna - run until midnight. Trains depart daily to all major cities in Germany and throughout Europe.
