Description:
The central square of Koblenz is a small town square, which is located near the main city attractions.
The square is not ancient, it was built after World War II in the geographical, not the historical center of the city on the site of houses destroyed during the bombing, made in the traditional for Germany half-timbered style. The modern square is replete with green spaces and decorative ponds.
The square regularly hosts Sunday and Christmas fairs, various concerts, festivals, folk festivals and festivities, parades and other cultural events.
