Mount Pantocrator
Description:
The highest point on the island of Corfu, reaching 906 meters, is Mount Pantocrator. The northern island of the azure seas attracts many tourists. The view from the top of the mountain fascinates the spirit: before my eyes the whole island and close to it Albania. You can climb it both on foot and by car. Tired tourists can relax in the cafe located on the mountain, there are also specially equipped areas for relaxation.
That’s not all there is at the top. The ancient monastery of the Transfiguration of the Lord and the delightful frescoes seen in the church leave a peaceful feeling.
