Corfu

Cassiopi village

Greece, located on the north-east coast of the island of Corfu.

Description:

Kassiopi is the largest resort village on the northeast coast of Corfu. It stands on the banks of a small, horseshoe-shaped harbor. In addition to the picturesque location, the town also has a very interesting and long history.

In the center of the town there is a harbour with fishing boats and many water swimming schools, near which boats are moored.

Not far from them are small cafes and bars, as well as shops and souvenir shops in which you can find products with embroidery and handmade lace in the traditional Kerkyrean style, which are very popular among vacationers.

Along the beautiful promenade there are taverns and restaurants where you can taste national dishes from fresh fish and other seafood. Nightclubs, discos and other night entertainment attract young people here.

Despite the fact that Kassiopi has become one of the most crowded resorts in Corfu, it has not lost its charm. The beautiful area of the harbor still remains unspoiled. There are no tall hotels that spoil the view, and the city center center centered along the coastline is strewn with small cafes and taverns where you can sit for hours resting, relaxing and watching boats arrive and depart. The waters in the harbour near Cassiopi are very calm and safe for swimming.
