Mountain Rhapsody on the slopes of Mount Mtirala

Mountains are the music of creation or 50 shades of green.

This tour is a very simple, but still mountain route. With a waterfall, a fast river, steep descents and ascents at the foot of Mount Mtirala, which the romantics call the “Weeping Beauty”, as she, like the Princess Nesmeyan, almost never shows her peak, wrapped in dense fogs and pouring heavy rains, and cynics – the “bladder” of Georgia – for about the same.

We combine pleasant with useful, and in addition to a beautiful walk you will learn about what wet subtropics are and how warm gorges descending from the Lesser Caucasus to the Black Sea, and their unique vegetation are associated with the Ice Age. I will tell you about the main mountain regions of Georgia and their features. Most of all, we will talk about Adjara, but we will not forget about Svaneti, Tusheti, Kazbegi and others.

Fresh air and physical activity = brutal appetite, so at the end of the tour, lunch is possible in one of the restaurants. I'll give you a few options.

Organizational details

There are 2 main routes in the park: 16 km and 4 km. The description is made for short, but if you start the hike early in the morning (6-7 am), then you can walk a long day. This is possible with a surcharge of 50 euros and good physical shape.

- upon request for excursions, you can organize a picnic in the fresh air in a picturesque place: warn me in advance, and I will take everything you need (pladge, snacks, fruits, a thermos with tea, wine, etc.) This will be added to the cost of the tour.
