Kayaking and Cycling in Colchis National Park

From the city of Batumi you will go by comfortable car to the place of the beginning of the cycle route. On the way you will already discover the beauty of the Colchis lowlands. Interesting stories about the local life and traditions of Georgia and, of course, stories about ancient events, myths and legends will accompany you. Such ancient thinkers as Strabo, Herodotus, Xenophon, mentioned in their works the ancient city of Phasis (now Poti).
Active part of the route:
After riding on bicycles, you will travel through the plains of the Colchis National Park. To the left of you will be the sea coast, and to the right - a huge lake Paliastomi, which was once a sea bay. The riot of greenery and incessant bird voices will be with you throughout the walk, because Paliastomi Lake is the largest in Georgia location for recreation and wintering of migratory birds. Do not forget to reflect the most picturesque and spectacular places in the lenses of your cameras!
The route will end at the Golden Lake. You will find out why it is so called and ride it on two-seater kayaks. After such an active trip, you will definitely get hungry and go to the heartfelt Georgian table with traditional dishes and delicious Georgian wine (optional)!
