Catholic Christmas

Description:

Christmas has always been treated as a holiday of peace and tranquility.
Christmas night, according to the beliefs of Croats, is full of evil forces that must be appeased. Therefore, there are a number of traditions: a cat is launched into the attic or thrown at night a stone in front of the house.

In Hradecka Pavlovets, palms are placed on a window facing the north so that in the coming year everyone in the house is healthy.

Christmas has always been a celebration of peace and tranquility. There should be plenty of food on the Christmas table. They talk to each other about their desires for the coming year. In the house gather all home and immediate relatives. Carolers come to the house on Christmas or the next day wishing everyone good, health and happiness.
