Birla Mandir Temple
Description:
Birla Mandir Temple (another name is Lakshmi Narayan Temple) is located in the south of Jaipur. This beautiful bright Hindu temple was built by the famous family of industrialist Birla in India.
The main gods of the shrine are Vishnu and Lakshmi, his wife. And here they worship Shiva, Ganesha, Hanuman, Durga. On the territory of Birla Mandir there is a well-kept park, where there is a small temple of Shiva, made in the form of a small cave. It hosts the main celebrations of Maha-Shivaratri.
Before entering the Lakshmi temple, foreign visitors take off their outerwear and shoes in a special room.
