Excursion to Atirapilli waterfalls with a Russian-speaking guide (special offer for cruise passengers)

Description:

Atirapilli is the largest waterfall of Kerala, which is located on the Chalakudi River, 55 km from the Cochin a/ort and 70 km from the city. The Atirapilli-Vazacchal natural zone is the second most important in the state in terms of biological diversity, according to scientists, the International Association for Bird Conservation and the Asian Environmental Fund recommended that the government of India declare these places reserves.

The waterfall is located among the impenetrable jungles, which are home to rare birds and animals and endemic plants. Only in this place, the only one in the Western Ghats, there are four species of rhinoceros bird and many other rare birds. During our excursion, we will climb the mountains, visit both the main, open-to-visit part of the waterfall - Atirapilli, and climb actually to the upper part of the waterfall - Vazacchal and walk along a huge hanging bridge above the lower part of the waterfall.
