Tanah Lot, Taman Ayun, Bedugul

One of the best excursions on the island. The island of Bali is an island of thousands of temples, the program of this excursion allows one day to see the most picturesque, cultic and mysterious temples of the island: Tanah Lot, Taman Ayun, Oolong Danu Bratan.

At 8.30 a.m., our Russian-speaking guide will pick you up from the hotel, and you will head to the west of the island to enjoy fantastic views of the most magical temple of the island of Bali – the famous Tanah Lot (Pura Tanah Lot).

This temple is located on a rocky island right in the raging ocean. Translated into Russian, its name means “water temple of the earth”. According to ancient legends, the temple was built in the 15th century by the Hindu brahmana Nirartha. Tanakh Lot complements a chain of coastal temples designed to protect the island from the demons of the ocean. Then we will stop to admire the temple of Taman Ayun (Pura Taman Ayun), the family temple of the royal family of Mengvi. In Russian, its name translates as “beautiful garden”. Taman Ayun is cozy located in an unusually beautiful place.

It is surrounded by majestic trees, many water channels and ponds. Then we go to the Bedugul area. Bedugul is both small towns and picturesque lakes, the sacred temple of Ulun Danu Bratan, which is located on the shore of Lake Bratan. The temple has more than three hundred years of history, and it is believed that it was built by local blacksmiths-gunsmen.

In this place, you will find perhaps the most fascinating views: a mysterious temple on a sacred lake, which is surrounded by tropical jungles and mountains, on top of which clouds sleep. On the way home, you can stay at a large abandoned hotel.
