Batur volcano

This is the most popular, rich, interesting and exciting excursion. After visiting it, you will not only see fabulous landscapes, but also join the culture of the island of Bali. The first place we will visit is the Hindu Temple of Batuan, which is located in the small village of Batuan. The village is the birthplace of the eponymous style of painting, which arose in the 30 years of the twentieth century. Art galleries present paintings of different schools and styles of the island of Bali.

After that, we will delve into the center of the island, and the next stop will be one of the largest waterfalls in Bali – Tegenungan Falls. Those who wish can swim. Closer to lunch we will visit a real tropical plantation, where you will see how to grow various spices, seasonings, plants and, of course, how to produce the most famous coffee in the world – Luvak. Here you can try different types of tea and coffee.

Next, we will go to the Kintamani observation deck, which offers fantastic views of the Batur and Abang volcanoes and the blue Lake Batur, which is located in between. The lake is a former crater of an ancient volcano. Not far from the observation deck will be a delicious restaurant, where you can enjoy not only national cuisine, but also a view of the beautiful landscape.

Then we go to the monkey forest. Do not forget to bring bananas - a favorite delicacy of mischievous forest dwellers. On the way to the forest, we will make a stop in the village of Tegalalang, where you can see some of the largest emerald rice terraces on the island. For those interested in art, we can visit the village of artisans. Here you can see crafts made of wood, stone, as well as jewelry made of silver and gold.

For the most persistent and curious, we can also visit the famous Bali Park of Birds and Reptiles. Tickets will need to be purchased separately. Here live exotic birds from different parts of the world, cassowaries, Paradise Balinese birds, iguanas, snakes, crocodiles, Komodo dragon and many other exotic species.
