Butterfly Park in Taman Kupu-Kupu

Taman Kupu Kupu Butterfly Park is located 5 kilometers north of the "rice basket" of Bali, Tabanan. Butterfly Park is the most amazing place where you can have a great time with the whole family. This gated park is home to several rare species of butterflies that are found on the islands of the Indonesian archipelago. Many of the butterflies are listed as protected by CITES, including the spectacular black-and-green ornithoptera priamus imported from Irian Jaya. The wingspan of this butterfly exceeds 10 cm. Their activity is highest in the morning, especially on dry and hot days.
