Kuta Evening Market
Description:
Kuta Evening Market (Pasar Patimura Jaya) is located near Jalan Legian Street, in the common people it is called “food court”, “square” and “night market”. Evening market is a very traditional phenomenon for local places. Every day, at sunset, small markets open across the country where locals can have a snack after work or buy food for dinner for their family.
With such a huge range of street food, almost no one cooks at home. In the evening market there are mobile food trays and small cafes. Here you will be offered delicious dishes of Chinese, Indonesian and European cuisine, as well as American fast food, freshly squeezed juices and salads from fresh tropical fruits. All food is quite cheap: a glass of iced juice will cost only half a dollar, and chicken soup will cost one dollar.
Visiting the evening market, you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of everyday life of ordinary Indonesians. Here you can often listen to guys play the guitar, and the girls cheerfully sing along to them.
