Antonio Blanco Museum
Jalan Campuhan, Ubud 80571, Indonesia
About the company:
The paintings by Antonio Blanco, as well as the conditions in which he worked, can be seen in his house-museum in Indonesia.
"Salvador Dali of Bali" - that is how Antonio Blanco was nicknamed for his outstanding eccentricity. He was born in the Philippines and after a long wandering he settled in Indonesia. The house, the garden that surrounds it, as well as the courtyard, which serves as a haven for a whole flock of colorful parrots, impress visitors no less than the artist’s canvases. This house is a mixture of art deco, baroque and fantasy of its owner. Inside is the most important thing - hundreds of paintings that are inserted into unprecedented frames. Blanco's workshop is in the attic. Not a single object has been moved - everything is located exactly as it was during the life of Dali from Bali.
