Mecca Mall Shopping Centre

Abdullah ad Dawud, Amman, Jordan

Description:

Mecca Mall is one of the largest shopping malls in the Jordanian capital Amman. It got its name because of its location on the street of Mecca. The complex includes 22 restaurants, 8 cinemas, a bowling club, video galleries, as well as numerous grocery stores and fashion boutiques, which showcase the clothes of world-famous designers, as well as decor elements and souvenirs.

The Mecca Mall is owned by the Kurdi Group. A feature of the complex is an increased level of security - the latest video surveillance, notification and communications systems are installed here. When visitors enter, security checks are required to reduce the risk of armed attacks. Enhanced security measures were taken in November 2005 after a massive explosion in the city.

The building of Mecca Mall is built in a classic style, at first glance it seems quite simple. But when you enter, you will see many intricate labyrinths, each of which is full of shop windows.

Every year, the number of visitors to the Mecca Mall is growing rapidly, so in 2014 it is planned to expand the parking to 500 places.
