Amman

International Airport "Queen Alia"

Description:

The airport was built in 1983 and was named after Hussein’s wife, the King of Jordan. There are 2 terminals - north and south - that connect the shuttle, and 2 runways.

Currently, Queen Alia Airport is the main transport link of Jordan, as it carries out not only domestic but also international flights. It serves more than 5 million people annually. An additional advantage is the fact that visa-free transit is introduced at the airport.

In addition to parking for one and a half thousand seats, passengers can use such services as Duty free, Wi-Fi zone, bars and cafes (the most popular Arabic cuisine here), as well as ATMs.

A playground and even a small cinema are open for children.

It is most convenient to get here by taxi, but those who want to save can use the bus.
