Museum of glass products in Tehran
About the company:
The Museum of Glassware (or Museum of Glass and Ceramics) was opened in 1980, since 1976 it has been provided to a group of architects from Iran, France and Austria. In 1998, the building, which houses the most ancient exhibits, was included in the list of cultural heritage of Iran.
The architectural structure belongs to the Qajar era and was built by wealthy Teherans. For a long time, the Egyptian Embassy was located here, and then the Museum of Glass was founded here.
Its collection of items is called one of the rarest in all of Iran. Here you can see products made of clay and ceramics (IV millennium BC - 21 century), as well as valuable glass exhibits (I millennium BC - 21 century). Among the glass models are objects from Europe of the 18th-19th centuries.
The transformations that have touched this building over the years of its existence are of interest to society, so many people tend to visit the Museum of Glass and Ceramics not only for the sake of ancient samples, but also to admire the architectural ensemble of cultural heritage.
