Fitzwilliam Square

28 Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin, Co. Dublin, Ireland

Description:

Fitzwilliam Square is a small historical square whose buildings are built in Georgian style. It is located in the south of central Dublin and is the last of the five Georgian squares built in the city.

The square was designed by Richard Fitzwilliam between 1789 and 1792 and named after him. It was once a popular destination during the Irish public season.

This is the period when aristocrats left their country residences and moved to their Georgian mansions, where guests were received every day.
